GraveLink ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services at gravelink.co (the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Service.
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, create a memorial, or contact us for support. This may include your name, email address, and any content you upload (photos, videos, biographical text). We also collect certain information automatically when you use the Service, including log data, device information, and cookies used to maintain your session.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; to process transactions and send related information; to respond to comments and questions; to send you technical notices and support messages; and to monitor and analyze trends and usage. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Memorial pages are publicly accessible by default. Any content you add to a memorial — including photos, videos, biographies, and guest book entries — may be viewed by anyone with the memorial's URL. Please do not include sensitive personal information in public memorial pages that you would not want to be publicly visible.
All payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc. GraveLink does not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information. We store only the minimal identifiers necessary to track your purchase history (e.g., a Stripe customer ID).
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your login session and improve your experience. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some features of the Service may not function properly without cookies.
We retain your account information and memorial content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or business purposes.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (such as Stripe for payments and Google Analytics for usage analytics). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at [email protected] or by visiting our Contact page.
