Digital Memorial Terms of Service

Your account and content

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for all activity under your account. When you upload photos, videos, audio, life stories, or guest book entries, you confirm that you have the right or the family's permission to publish them.

You keep full ownership of your original photos and stories. By uploading them, you give GraveLink permission to host, display, and back them up, solely to run the memorial page and its linked QR code.

Lifetime hosting and data export

Paid memorial plans (Digital Plus and Standard) are one-time payments with no recurring fees or subscriptions. Your memorial is hosted for the lifetime of the service.

Families can download a complete backup of their memorial photos, text, and media at any time. If GraveLink were ever to stop operating, we will give advance notice and provide a full data export so your tribute is never lost.

Acceptable content

Memorial pages and guest book messages are spaces for quiet dignity and peaceful remembrance. We may remove content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, impersonating, or clearly not a genuine tribute.

Payments

All payments are made in full at checkout and processed securely by Stripe. GraveLink never stores your card numbers or sensitive payment details.

Grade 2 titanium markers

• Custom engraving: Each marker is engraved for a specific memorial with a permanent QR code, so correctly produced markers cannot be canceled or returned once engraving begins.
• Replacement guarantee: If a marker arrives with a manufacturing defect, an engraving error on our part, or shipping damage, we will replace it free of charge once we receive a photo of the issue.
• Exclusions: Our guarantee covers the marker as delivered. It does not cover loss, theft, vandalism, weather, lawnmower or ground equipment damage, or improper installation after placement.
• Cemetery rules: GraveLink makes and ships the marker but does not install it. You are responsible for following your cemetery's rules and getting any permission needed before attaching a marker. We are not responsible if a cemetery restricts or removes a marker.
• Shipping: Delivery dates are estimates. Please give a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. We cannot be responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect address details.

Partner memorials

Authorized partners, such as portrait studios and funeral providers, may create memorials on behalf of families. Partners must have the family's permission before creating a public tribute. Partner memorials go live once paid, and full ownership moves to the family when they accept the private claim link.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our responsibility for a defective marker is limited to replacing it. GraveLink is not liable for indirect damages, service interruptions, cemetery decisions, or content uploaded by users.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service grows. Important changes will be announced on this page.
